Mitfloc 5629L is a synthetic medium to high molecular weight cationic flocculant supplied as a convenient, ready-to-use liquid. It can be used as a coagulant aid, working with low molecular weight coagulants to reduce the use of metallic salts and thereby reducing the total sludge load. Mitfloc 5629L is manufactured to meet the requirements of most solid-liquid separation processes encountered in industrial waste treatment processes. Some of the processes in which Mitfloc 5629L is used include flotation of oil in machining operation wastewater, oil/water separation and industrial waste clarification.
Oil Demulsifier
Mitfloc 5425 is a water-based surfactant blend supplied as a readily pourable or pumpable liquid. It is used as a “cooking aid” or emulsion breaker for separating water-in-oil emulsions found in the automotive and refining industries. Mitfloc 5425 acts to remove the surface impurities that stabilize the droplets of oil and water in an emulsion by preventing their coalescence.
Odor Control is a specialty segment of wastewater treatment. Odor control products can be misted into the air to combat odors or can be added directly to the liquid phase at the odor source. Maskants work to cover an offending odor with a more pleasant smell. Counteractants and reactants work by either physically or chemically reacting with the odor to eliminate it.
Odor Controlling Neutralizer
DuNeutra-O is a water based odor modifier with wood, fresh fragrance. It contains a special environmental odor control (EOC) agent which modifies most unpleasant odors without heavy perfuming.
Neutral pH, Multi-Purpose Cleaner
Mask-IT Q+L is a multi-purpose cleaner, degreaser, and deodorizer for use on hard, non-porous surfaces. It is a scientific blend of citrus base solvents, essential odor counteractant oils, plus cutting-edge quaternary surface-active agents.
Odor Control
NILODOR C900 is an organic odor control product, designed as an environmentally acceptable alternative to biological reactions often used for odor control. Its use avoids the negative side effects generated using chlorine, peroxide, or ferric chloride.
Formed from the liquid extracts of naturally occurring organic materials, NILODOR C900 works by binding with and permanently neutralizing sulfides, mercaptans, and other odor causing chemicals. It does not change the waste stream pH.
Odor Neutralizing Agent
Nilodor J820 is a liquid with a mild, pleasant odor. It works almost immediately to react with and neutralize odors from hydrogen sulfide (H2S), mercaptan, and other sulfur-based chemicals. It is biodegradable, emulsifiable and may be applied by spray or by direct addition to an aqueous waste stream. Nilodor J820 contains no perfumes to mask odor. Its primary function is to react with, absorb and neutralize odor causing “osmogenes” to eliminate the source of the odors. This product is not considered to be toxic, irritating or sensitizing. Use of DuBois’s Nilodor J820 will not affect sludge volume produced in wastewater treatment operations.

It works effectively to simultaneously react with and neutralize odors from various sources, including hydrogen sulfide (H2S), methyl mercaptan, ammonia, phenols, formaldehyde, solvent odors, sulfur dioxide (SO2) and amine-based chemicals. It is biodegradable, emulsifiable and may be applied by spray into the air or by direct addition to an aqueous waste stream. Nilodor J885 contains essential oils that give pleasant odors, but their primary function is to react with, dissolve and neutralize odor causing “osmogenes” to eliminate the source of the odors. Nilodor J885 is not a masking agent; it is a true odor counteractant. This product is not considered to be toxic, irritating or sensitizing. Nilodor J885 is very biodegradable.
