Redefining The Service Report

Water treatment has long been a “black box”. At AquaAnalytics, we believe in removing this stigma. Our blogs are a great place for our passionate engineers to share some of their knowledge with you. Does that mean you need to read our blogs every month and become a water treatment expert to effectively manage your water treatment program? The answer is NO.

We are continuously looking for innovative ways to best communicate detailed water treatment information to facility managers and operators. For more than two decades, our clients have been used to our colour-coded AquaAnalytics service reports. At a glance they provide a snapshot view of the current water treatment control. These service reports are emailed to the client, from the site, as we perform the service visit. The reports have always contained a summary: here is what I’ve found, here is what it means for your system, here’s what I did to fix it.

Continuous Improvement Is Not An Event, It’s A Continuous Process

As we constantly remind our clients, continuous improvement is not an event, it’s a continuous process. That is why we are excited to launch two major AquaAnalytics innovations, that our team has been diligently working on behind the scenes, that will further improve the way we communicate important information regarding your water management program with you.

Starting September 1, 2018, your AquaAnalytics portal will offer the following:

Innovation #1 – Dashboard View

The dashboard view is intended to present what matters most to you – through comprehensive yet simple to understand KPIs. These KPIs are based on algorithms developed through our two decades of electronic data gathering expertise, identifying trends before they become problems:

  • What is your Water Consumption Trend? For critical HVAC applications, how does that compare to your local Cooling Degree Days (CDD)?
  • Your Percent In Control (PIC) Rating: This is your water treatment program score, letting you know if the program is hitting the designed targets.
  • Your Water Use Efficiency Score: Water use integrity is at the forefront of any strong water treatment program, yet we haven’t been showing you how you have been performing in a simple format. Now you see it, every time you log in!
  • Your Scale Protection Score: At the core of energy efficiency are clean heat exchangers – knowing how you are performing here has a major impact on your utility costs.
  • Your Corrosion Protection Score: Water touches hundreds of thousands of dollars of infrastructure and capital equipment within your facility – are you maximizing your asset life through strong corrosion protection?

Innovation #2 – Interactive Service Report

Your plant is not static in time… why should your service report be? The re-invented AquaAnalytics service report is polling data from the portal to be fully interactive. We all know “You can’t manage what you don’t measure”, but in this information overload world, ease of access to the right information is more important than knowing the information exists. From graphing, to historical trending, the information in the AquaAnalytics report is a right-click away.

Fully Mobile Compatible
